Are You Sponge?

heart_sponge_shape_

Get in the Lord”s everlasting flow and absorb His cleansing water to be squeezed out in use!

A sponge was designed and created for a specific purpose, and so were you!
A sponge can hold and distribute, so can you!
A sponge gets hard without a fresh soaking up, so do you!
A sponge needs to be sanitized, so do you!

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures… 1 Corinthians 15:3

…As Your Self

love-your-neighbor-as-yourself-620x461

Are you struggling to show kindness to someone who irritates you?

Practice with yourself.

More than likely you rely on the kindness of others and see kindness to yourself as selfish.  The Lord desires for you to first embody all He has given you. Its the overflow of walking and basking in it thats pours out to your neighbor!

He answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ ; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
Luke 10:27

Interference

toolbox

You are God’s tool,

not God’s hand!

(Tools do not operate without the Master skilled operator!)

Be a ready helper; always be “at hand.”

God will not have our hands meddling with His will!!

“No man can by any means redeem his brother, or give to God a ransom for him-for the redemption of his soul is costly, and he should cease trying forever”  Psalm 49:7-8

Facelift

Has your life been under construction these days? There is a reason! God knows your heart and also desires for you to be better, wiser and fulfilled; made in His image.

You are a new creation, all things have passed away, the old become new… Did you think that was a metaphor?   He is rebuilding, redesigning and completing you, attitude, character and appearance!  You will meet Him face to face!  Can you actucally say you’re ready?  Then join the process!

And whoever does not carry their cross and follow Me cannot be My disciple.  Luke 14:27 (further reading: Luke 14:25-35)

Saved?

Biblical salvation is defined: the penalty of sin is forgiven; deliverance.

God intends to show you, in a personal way, how salvation works in your life, not just your death.

Experience His deliverance from eternal death, as you live.

Eternal life doesn’t begin when you die!

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.  He will call on Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.  With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”  Psalm 91:14-16

Back to God

Back to God

God created the world, water, trees and man…

Man makes boat from trees and travels the world, searching for God!

God created the mountains, forest, lake and  gives man inspiration and talent…

Man paints landscape, makes profit and donates to the needy!

“But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth,  and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your forefathers, as it is today.”  Deuteronomy 8:18

Consumed

the+cross-300x225

When you turn on the light…it swallows darkness.

You are the light of the world…shine on!

In a closet, on a boat, even under a blanket, you are light!

Fan the flame, increase your volts, be a city on a hill…

Live like you have no off!

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness”, make his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”  2 Corinthians 4:6

Put On

Put On

We put on clothes every day, some days, we change a few times.

We pick and choose colors, styles, layers and necessities.

Never forget, we need to put on the garment of praise, put on a good behavior, wear our faith like a favorite shirt.

Love should be more than in our hearts, it should be seen, like our clothes.

We notice someone naked, eyes wide open!

Live so even the blind can see our [love] clothes!

“But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.”  1 Thessalonians 5:8

No I in Glory!

squARE

There is no I in:
Holy or Jesus,
purpose or surrender,
grace or peace,
joy or love!

All good things we should live for do not revolve around ourself!

Patience has an I!
That’s what we should embrace, waiting on the Lord to have HIS WAY!

“… Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from Me… Then the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9

Roots Revealed

roots exposed

Roots are not designed to be seen;
branches are!
Roots exposed create a complicated trail to travel; branches provide fruit and shade!

Keep secure what is meant to be hidden;
extend your branch to define your root!

“For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”  Colossians 3:3-4

Don’t Give Up Praying

Determination-antpushingobject-225x300

Prayer is an opportunity challenge,
to walk out your faith and await Gods glory revealed.

Our urgency and expectations are ingredients in giving up.
( Tired of starting over? Stop giving up! )

Be diligent in prayer; don’t watch the clock! Don’t put God in a box!
Embrace the opportunity like Abraham did. He prayed 13 years for Ishmael.
Finally he heard God say “As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold I will BLESS him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly” Genesis 17:20a

But let him ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord” James 1:6-7

Bless Your Brother Day!

images

Today is officially:
BLESS YOUR BROTHER DAY!

On our journey to be salt and light to the world we are given instructions with emphasis; position yourself to be a blessing to others…
‘ESPECIALLY the family of faith!’

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. Galatians 6:10

Whats Your Aim?

3d-man-with-target

Did you know your life is just target practice?
What are you aiming at?

As a disciple, your aim is to bear the image of Jesus; so others can see His message of loves saving grace in you!

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

Thru Not To

imagesCANPP34T

Got a dream?
Oh, if you could just have it…
or get there… life would be so…

Rejoice and keep in mind: Gods plan is to bring you THROUGH it, not just TO it.
It’s ALWAYS about your testimony of His Glory that shines light for others to embrace! That testimony comes from your experience with Him!

He divided the sea and led them through; he made the water stand up like a wall.  Psalm 78:13

Testimony 101

rccg_radio_testify-670x300

There are two essential aspects that make your testimony.
1.) Gods Word revealed to you
2.) Gods Word experienced in you
The neglect of either will result an ineffective testimony!

Who does your testimony honor, you or God who brought you thru it?

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Ps. 19:14

Any Given Moment

read the word

“The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.” John 6:63

Being a disciple of the Lord we are the bearer of spirit life… or death.

Our godly influence at any given moment can become an oasis to a barren soul or a virus that spreads like wildfire.

May we never be like the Pharisees, outward tradition and an inward tomb.  They were hearers of the word, only.  They themselves did not do or apply all they had heard.

Lord, help our relationship with your Word be  “…the fragrance of Christ to God among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life.” 2 Corinthians 2:15-16
